结果显示，Mg在体外和体内抑制破骨细胞分化的早期阶段并抑制骨吸收。然而，Mg在多孔结构中或在植入物周围的周边区域中没有增强体外或体内的成骨作用。对于具有多孔结构的植入物，Mg涂层本身不能改善成骨能力，但可以抑制种植体周围骨溶解，这可能使其有利于骨质疏松症患者。

需要进一步研究以检查Mg诱导的抗骨溶解的精确机制以及Mg涂层植入物对人的长期影响。
