结果显示，双相磷酸三钙填充复合牙本质的缺陷显示体积分数（FV/TV）为55.81％±17.72％，而仅填充双相磷酸三钙的缺陷显示分数为39.84％±16.06％，表示剩余移植材料和新骨形成与组织体积的比率。空阴性对照缺陷显示体积分数为19.14％±8.787％。组织学分析显示8周后复合牙本质/β-TCP组骨形成和残留移植物明显增加。

研究结果表明，与双相磷酸三钙相比，复合异种牙本质与双相磷酸三钙可改善成骨，不增加非脱矿牙本质。
