倒置性乳头状瘤（IPs）是一种局部侵袭性肿瘤，复发率高，最常见于鼻腔侧壁。 IP很少会在泪囊和/或鼻泪管（NLD）系统中出现。一名58岁的男性出现慢性泪溢，并在其左内侧肌腱（MCT）下方出现肿块，持续了2年。

他们在文章中介绍了一个IP案例，该IP案例主要存在与泪囊中，并在MCT下方而不是MCT上方中出现。这是少数发表的病例报告，作者在其中详细介绍了结合使用内窥镜和外部联合方法切除泪囊IP的方法。

作者认为，内窥镜和外部切除术相结合是彻底去除泪囊和NLD系统广泛IP的可行方法。如前所述，泪囊产生的IP可能会在MCT之下生长或延伸到MCT之上。
