恶性胸腔积液（MPE）主要继发于胸膜转移。 其患病率占所有胸腔积液的15％至35％，存活的中位数在4至6个月之间波动，这对于如何进行诊断非常重要的原因。 SysmexXN-350®是一款自动化血液分析仪，可以对白细胞进行计数和分化，还可以检测包括巨噬细胞，间皮细胞和赘生性细胞在内的高荧光细胞（HFC）。

 

研究结果显示，对于MPE筛查，在无心力衰竭和/或低呼吸道感染的情况下，获得的最佳组合为HF-BF＃≥≥17/μL和HF-BF＃≥> 10 /μL。

 

本研究结果表明，Sysmex XN-350®分析仪对胸膜液的自动分析对MPE的筛选是有效的。
