生殖医学实践中，胚胎质量是体外受精成功的最重要因素。本研究的目的是探索使用免疫磁性还原（IMR）测定法定量检测胚泡培养基中人绒毛膜促性腺激素（β-hCG）的β-亚基以区分胚胎质量的可能性。

这是一个前瞻性的病例对照研究，包括28个囊胚培养样本。研究人员使用单步胚泡培养和IMR测定来分析培养基中的β-hCG浓度。 此外，还探讨了β-hCG的IMR信号与胚泡形态分级之间的关系。

研究显示，β-hCG浓度IMR信号与胚泡形态质量高度相关(斯皮尔曼相关系数:0.731)。操作特征曲线分析显示，截止IMR值对胚胎质量的鉴别率为0.873%，曲线下面积为0.947，敏感性为0.882，特异性为0.818。此外，亚分析还揭示了β-hCG浓度依赖性IMR信号与滋养外胚层分级之间的正相关，Spearman相关系数为0.576。

研究表明，IMR测定可以定量测量胚泡培养基中的β-hCG，并且可能是一种潜在的临床工具，有助于在胚胎移植前评估良好的胚泡质量。
