近日，Akcea Therapeutics在2020年ESC（欧洲心脏病学会年会）在线会议上介绍了vupanorsen（AKCEA-ANGPTL3-LRx）治疗心血管疾病的II期临床试验数据。

近日，Akcea Therapeutics在2020年ESC（欧洲心脏病学会年会）在线会议上介绍了vupanorsen（AKCEA-ANGPTL3-LRx）治疗心血管疾病的II期临床试验数据。

Vupanorsen是一种研究性反义疗法，正在开发用于治疗患有某些心血管疾病的患者。在II期研究中，与安慰剂相比，vupanorsen达到了显著降低甘油三酸酯（TG）水平的主要终点和多个次要终点，并具有良好的安全性和耐受性。该反义药物旨在减少肝脏中血管生成素样3（ANGPTL3）蛋白（甘油三酸酯和胆固醇代谢的关键调节剂）的产生。AKCEA-ANGPTL3-LRx是使用高级配体共轭反义（LICA）技术平台开发的。

Akcea首席执行官Damien McDevitt博士说：“我们对vupanorsen的功效、安全性和耐受性结果感到非常鼓舞。全世界有数以百万计的血脂异常且处于心血管疾病风险中的患者。通过降低ANGPTL3，vupanorsen有潜力降低因血脂异常而导致心血管疾病的风险”。
